Your Instructor: Marda Zechiel (The Power of Yoga) Marda has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga for 16 years and is excited to introduce new students to The Power of Yoga.

Marda is a 500-hour E-RYT and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) and Creator of Alignment Yoga Sculpt (AYS)

Alignment Yoga Sculpt utilizes low-impact, high-intensity moves through combination exercises that are safe on your joints and sustainable practice that will sculpt and effectively change your body.

  • Low impact and cardio benefits
  • Raise your heart rate with combination exercises
  • Functional movement training that builds strength and bone density
  • A consistent AYS practice will improve your flexibility, balance, and range of motion.
  • AYS strengthens your body for everyday movements that require stability and strength.
  • The challenge also includes Vinyasa and Restorative practices to balance out the challenge leaving you feeling refreshed.

What you will get in the Yoga Sculpt 2023 New Year Challenge:

1. Each week (5 weeks and 30 classes), you will get the following classes that build upon each other.

Mondays Yoga Sculpt 60-minutes

Tuesdays Vinyasa 30-minute

Wednesdays Yoga Sculpt 60-minutes

Thursdays Vinyasa 30-minute

Fridays Yoga Sculpt 60-minutes

Saturday or Sunday Restorative practice 30-minutes

2. Each new class will be added to the Teachable platform library the night before. *You will have lifetime access to the classes in this challenge.

3. To successfully start this new habit, you must commit to practicing the classes on the day assigned.

4. Find a dedicated area in your house away from distractions and set up your yoga studio. You will need the following:

a. two sets of dumbells, 2 or 3 lbs. and 5 or 6 lbs.

b. Yoga mat, yoga blocks, and yoga strap
